Eat chocolate, stay healthy
Who doesn't love chocolate? In this activity, students are set the challenge to help Kate stick to her balanced diet and keep her daily chocolate habit. They analyse the nutrients in two different chocolate bars - her favourite and a new 'healthy' version. Then they recommend how much of each chocolate she can eat while keeping within recommended intake limits. The activity can be used as a practice for writing extended answers. It comes with a level of response style mark scheme that is now used in GCSE science.
